The stuffing inside these beds is of futon, as dogs find it very comfortable. These beds come in various sizes and shapes, and can even be customized for your dog. These waterproof covers are not chew-proof though, and that's one thing which you will have to take into consideration!

Woven Beds

These beds are made by tightly weaving nylon threads together to make a 100% waterproof support. As with waterproof beds, even these beds are stuffed with futon. These beds don't lose shape easily. You will also find some fantastic orthopedic memory foam beds, which can be kept clean.
They are also very durable, unless your dog decides to take things in his own hand and chews them apart. Cleaning these beds is also pretty easy, as all you need to do is sponge it with soapy water and air dry it for about 30 minutes. Since these beds are more like pillows, they can be very comfortable for large dogs.

Chew-proof Beds

If you have a dog who just can't resist chewing anything that comes his way, well, this one's for you! Growing puppies usually have a habit of chewing soft and frizzy beds, which can be torn apart easily.
Therefore, these beds are made from plastic at the sides and have a soft waterproof (futon mattress) center. It the plastic surface is smeared with soil or slobber, you can easily clean it with soap and water. These beds are perfect for small dogs, since they can be comfortably accommodated.

Washable Liners

If you don't want to go for washable dog beds, you can opt for bed liners. These are nothing, but washable rugs made from soft fabric, which are attached to the edges of the plastic beds to create a comfortable bedding.
You don't have to get a futon mattress in such cases, as the dog can enjoy his/her sleep on the cover itself and you can add them in kennels as well. As for cleaning, all you have to do is give it a machine wash and dry it for about a day! Bed liners are very similar to washable pads used for pets.
