Ingredients
  • ½ lb. uncooked ground beef
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup mashed black beans
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tsp soy sauce

In a large bowl, mix the ground meat and chicken broth. To this mixture, add half a cup of cottage cheese, mashed black beams, and two teaspoons of soy sauce.
Thoroughly mix the ingredients together and make them into bone shapes. Place them on greased cookie sheets and bake for 40 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Let the bone treats cool and then store them in an airtight container.

Yummy Treats

Ingredients
  • 6 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 11 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 pinches of onion powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil to grease pan

For making the bacon treats for your dog, you first need to grease cookie sheets and preheat the oven to 350ºF. Mix the flour, eggs, milk, onion powder together to make a dough. Roll pieces of the dough into two-inch balls and bake the biscuits at 350ºF for 40 minutes. Let the baked biscuits cool before storing them in an airtight container.

Chicken Kibble

  • 3 to 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups rice
  • Fat free cottage cheese

Yummy chicken and kibble is something that your dog will love. Cook the chicken breasts in a microwave and cut it into finger size pieces. Cook the rice and combine it with the chicken. Add a pinch of salt and some other seasonings based on what your dog likes.
Before feeding the dog, combine half the kibble with chicken rice mixture. Add some cottage or other fat free cheese to this mixture. This low fat healthy treat is excellent for your dog. Fish oils or vegetable oils can be added to improve the absorption.

Cheese Bone Biscuits

Ingredients
  • 2 cups unsifted flour
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 5 tbsp water

To make this simple easy to make homemade treat recipe, preheat the oven to 400ºF. Take a piece of cardboard and shape it as a dog bone. Alternately, you can use a dog bone cookie cutter.
In the container of a food processor, combine cheese, garlic, vegetable oil, and flour. Cover and whirl the mixture till it attains a coarse consistency. Add a bit of water and run the mixture till it forms a sticky dough ball.
The dough is then divided into twelve equal parts and rolled out to half inch thickness. Cut out into the bone shapes and place it on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake for around 15 minutes till the biscuits are slightly browned. Transfer to a wire rack and refrigerate the delicious cheese bones to allow it to cool.
